It's been absolutely ages since I wrote a beauty post, isn't it? So, I thought I'd talk you through the products I'm currently using as part of my bedtime skincare routine.
So, I start off by cleansing with Superfacialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Renew Cleansing Oil which takes all my makeup off so easily. I just take a few drops, rub it into my skin and massage it in, and then take a wet muslin cloth to wipe it all away. It leaves my skin feeling so clean, and it's quite moisturising too! After I've patted my face dry with a towel, I spray on some La Roche Posay Serozinc which is specifically designed for oily, blemish-prone skin. My skin's breaking out a lot at the moment, but it's oily and dry. This is still helping to keep those breakouts under control. (Slightly, anyway.) After that's dry, I gently apply some Simple Kind To Eyes Revitalising Eye Roll On under my eyes. It's got a really cooling effect, which is great before bed when my eyes are pretty tired. I also have to pop some E45 Cream (not pictured) onto patches of eczema that are on my face, mainly on my eyelids. (I have to be so careful not to get it in my eyes though!)
At the moment, despite breaking out a lot, my skin's still pretty dry in most places; so I've been using a little bit of Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich Hydration for dry skin, predominantly in the driest areas. It's quite a rich moisturiser that's helping to fight the dryness and sensitivity off. I've also been using an old favourite, La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, (not pictured) all over my face to help keep those blemishes at bay, but unfortunately it's not moisturising enough for my skin when used alone. And if my skin's really suffering from horribly dry patches, every few days (normally when my skin's less volatile) I'll smear some Sanctuary Spa Beauty Sleep Face Mask over them to help fight that dryness. It also makes my skin look way more radiant when I wake up too!
Any miracle products you can recommend to control problem skin? Let me know in the comments, it'd be much appreciated!
